Dear esteemed client,

To improve the overall hosting experience for all our clients and browsing experience for your website visitors, we have scheduled a decongestion of all our shared and reseller hosting servers today Saturday, May 09, 2026 11:00 PM EAT through Sunday, May 10, 2026 4:00 AM EAT.

This exercise will see some hosting accounts migrated from their current servers to new servers.

The result will be a reduced number of hosting accounts per server with the end result of overall improved website performance.

Affected Services

Reseller Hosting: All Reseller Hosting accounts will be moved to new servers.

Premium Linux Shared Hosting: All Premium Linux Shared Hosting accounts including Corporate, Enterprise, Elite and Elite+ (except those with dedicated IPs) will be moved to new servers.

Budget Linux Shared Hosting: Some hosting accounts on the Agency and Agency+ hosting plans will be moved to new servers. All accounts on the Personal and Business hosting plans will remain on their current servers.

Accounts on Dedicated IPs

All hosting accounts on dedicated IP addresses will not be moved. However, in the event that any of them is moved, it will be assigned a new dedicated IP address.

Migration Exemption on Request

In case you have made a lot of IP whitelisting for your hosting account and feel like it will be a lot of work to redo so as a result of moving your account to a new server, you may request an exemption of your account by creating a new support request at https://clients.jubileewebhost.com/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=1 and use the subject "ACCOUNT MIGRATION EXEMPTION". In the message section, indicate your domain name and clearly explain why your account should be exempted. This also applies to developers who have used a lot of hard coded home directory paths in their codes. We shall be glad to review your explanation and exempt your account or advise accordingly.

Required Action by Affected Clients

If you are using a billing system like WHMCS with a license that's restricted to your server IP, you will need to have your license re-issued to enable the license server save your new IP address. Also, if you are using any external services or API systems that require whitelisting your server IPs, you will need to update these too and whitelist your new IP.

Accessing cPanel, Webmail and WHM

Until we delete the accounts from the old servers, we highly recommend that you access cPanel, Webmail and WHM using the new server hostname. This is because using the domain-linked URL like cpanel.yourdomain.com before full propagation to the new server can easily log you in to the old server.

We shall separately communicate the new server details for each of the affected services after the decongestion.

In the Event of a Downtime

We are doing our best to ensure zero downtime to all affected websites/services. However, in the event that you notice any downtime to your services or website during this decongestion exercise, don't panic; the service will be automatically restored within a few minutes.

Notwithstanding, in the event that downtime extends beyond 30 minutes, kindly don't hesitate to get in touch with us via our support channels. We shall be glad to check this out.

Account Deletion from Old Servers

All migrated accounts will be suspended on the old servers after 24 hours, and later deleted from the same after 7 days, after ascertaining full propagation and resolution to the new servers.

We regret any inconveniences this decongestion exercise might cause.
