We are making important adjustments to our Hosting Plans.

Over the past few weeks, we have been experiencing a high level of server resource abuse by some clients which has unfortunately affected some non-abusive clients, causing a relatively poor hosting experience to these. This is contrary to what we have always pledged to our clients.

At Jubilee Hosting Services, our goal is to offer a memorable hosting experience to our clients. As such, we are making some important adjustments to our hosting plans, which will see a relatively stricter implementation of resource limits for all shared and reseller hosting accounts. This will help reduce server resource abuse, hence ensuring more server stability and a better hosting experience for all.

  1. The Database server is one of the resources that has been abused the most. As a result, we are implementing stricter limits on the number of databases allowed per account, as well as the speed and rate of writing to and reading from the database.
  2. Another aspect of shared hosting accounts that has been abused is the file count, also called the inode. It's important to note that having too many unnecessary files on a hosting account can generally slow down the hosting account and the server at large. This results in an overall poor hosting experience for the website owner and a poor browsing experience for the website visitors. To avoid this, we want to ensure that you maintain only the files that are necessary for the proper functioning of your website. Thus, we are introducing a limit on the number of files and folders you can have on your hosting account. As we introduce these limits, we encourage you to clean your hosting account(s) of unnecessary files.
  3. We are introducing two categories of Shared Linux Hosting Plans, that is, Budget Shared Linux Hosting for our clients who need basic hosting services on a tight budget, and Premium Shared Linux Hosting for our clients who need high-end hosting resources at a relatively high cost.
  4. For our Reseller Linux Hosting plans, we are implementing default limits for all reseller hosting accounts.

In the event that your website is grossly affected by these new changes, kindly don't hesitate to contact us, and we shall be glad to resolve any underlying issues.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter and thank you for your continued business with Jubilee Hosting Services.
