At Jubilee Hosting Services, we are committed to offering you the best hosting experience, always. That is why we are continuously working towards improving our systems.

Accordingly, as we continue to scale up, we are announcing key and important changes to our infrastructure. Below are the key changes that all our customers need to take note of.

Nameserver Changes

We have set up four (04) new powerful dedicated DNS Servers for our Linux Hosting. This includes both shared and reseller Linux hosting. These will serve as our nameservers, and we have assigned them the following nameservers.

ns1.jubileewebhost.com (46.225.229.69)
ns2.jubileewebhost.com (89.167.90.130)
ns3.jubileewebhost.com (5.161.231.74)
ns4.jubileewebhost.com (5.223.61.174)

These are replacing the old nameservers we have been using, that is;

ns223.jubileewebhost.com (136.243.154.114)
ns220.jubileewebhost.com (136.243.154.115)
ns221.jubileewebhost.com (144.76.181.177)
ns222.jubileewebhost.com (144.76.181.178)

Of course, the simplified naming is just to make it easier for our clients to remember. And also make it simple for even those who might have forgotten to easily guess. No big deal with the naming. Though it's very important and marks a very big shift in our overall infrastructure.

But it's not just the naming! Do you notice the IP changes? Yes, our old nameservers were just located on two different subnets but within the same data centre location, in Germany. This was a very bad idea. But it was well, and it was working. After all, we were still operating at a relatively small scale. So, it wasn't that a big deal.

We have moved from there. We are no longer operating at a small scale. We have scaled up. We are big boys! Thus, the need to scale up our hosting infrastructure.

Our new DNS Servers are spread across our different data centres in the different regions of the world, including Germany and Finland in Central Europe, Ashburn in North America, and Singapore in South-East Asia.

What this means is that for anyone visiting your website from anywhere in the world, the nameserver closest to them will serve your DNS records, making it faster to connect to your website and fetch content. Isn't that cool?

Therefore, whereas our old nameservers will continue functioning, we encourage all our clients to transition to our new nameservers to benefit from these new changes. And nothing to worry about, your website(s) will never experience any downtime as you transition.

For clients on Linux Shared Hosting plans, all you need to do is change the nameservers of your domain to the new ones above, and that will be all. Nothing else to change. Your website is still on its old IP. At the moment, though, this is not mandatory as we have moved those old nameservers to our new DNS servers too. However, we recommend that you make the changes at your earliest convenience just to align your domain with our current nomenclature and to avoid any confusion in the future.

For our Linux Reseller Hosting customers, all you need to do is point your custom nameservers to our new nameserver IPs shared above. No further action is required. Similarly, nothing else will change on your customers' websites. No downtime, and no change to their account IPs.

Server Hostnames

We are changing the way we name our hosting servers. Therefore, going forward, you may see a different hostname for the server you are connected to. When that happens, you shouldn't worry. It's exactly the server you were previously connected to. Only the hostname will have changed. Of course, the base domain will remain the same. Therefore, instead of a hostname like secure223.siteserverconfig.com, you may see something like silver.siteserverconfig.com.

No More cPanel/WHM Login Via Our Main Domain

Previously, it was possible to log in to your cPanel or WHM account through cpanel.jubileewebhost.com or whm.jubileewebhost.com, for example. However, going forward, this will no longer be possible. You will be required to use either your domain, that is, cpanel.yourdomain.com, or use your assigned server hostname like silver.siteserverconfig.com:2083.

And by the way, we know that most of our clients are not the end-users. They are hosting for their end-clients as well. Yes, we know and we want you to remain in control of your end-clients without them knowing that you actually host with us. Of course some may research and know, but at least the bigger percentage will not! Isn't that cool too? And oh, did I remind you that it's the very reason we don't brand our hosting control panel? Yes, it is.

Many more cool changes are still on way. Just to make sure you have the best hosting experience.

Should you have any questions about these changes, please don't hesitate to contact our team via our support channels.

We wish everyone the best hosting experience with Jubilee Hosting Services.
